You Deserve to Feel Good, and I Am Here to Help

I genuinely believe that every human being has a lot of untapped, innate potential. Sometimes we might need some help discovering our strengths while working through challenging aspects of our lives. That’s where I come in. Together, I believe we can build resilience, improve our connections with others, give ourselves and others compassion for our suffering, and create hope. Providing compassion and being present within a safe and comforting therapeutic environment while recounting my client’s most vulnerable experiences feels genuinely sacred. In my role as a psychotherapist, it is a privilege to help clients change their lives for the better. Start your journey today.

My Approach, Experience, and Philosophy

As a licensed psychologist, I have over ten years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with behavioral and emotional difficulties. I have worked in various settings, including inner-city public schools, community mental health clinics, hospitals, and private practices. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples of all cultural backgrounds who experience diverse challenges. Whether it’s trauma, depression and anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, ADHD, infertility, stress, LGBTQI+ related struggles, relationship problems, parenting struggles, or difficult life transitions, I help you find your path to better mental health.

My Therapy Techniques

Depending on the unique needs of my clients, I use evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as

  • Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT),
  • Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT),
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT),
  • Trauma-Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT),
  • Mindfulness and the Gottman Method.

I enjoy teaching strategies and interventions to increase my clients’ emotional well-being and adjustment. However, my primary goal of therapy is to establish a positive therapeutic relationship that fosters safety, support, compassion, resilience, and positive change.
